Let the End-of-Year Roundups Begin: Atlantic Food's 10 Biggest Food Stories of 2010

?It's that time of year again when media outlets like to count down their top tens of the year, be it trends, scandals, triumphs, downfalls, or just plain oddities. Over at Atlantic Food, the countdown has already begun to the biggest food story of 2010.

The list includes "The Meat Trend," school food reform, the egg recall (which one?) , food trucks (still?), foraging, and the "Italian Invasion." Really? No Korean fried chicken battles or pie-trumping-cupcakes stories? Perhaps those were too New York-centric. Or maybe they'll continue to gather steam to become the big stories of 2011. Here's hoping.
